TOPSIDES COST CONTROLLER

Duration          : 1 Year (with possible extension)

Overall Responsibilities:

  • The Cost Controller is responsible for Topsides Cost Control for the following areas:

    • KOS (Kiewit South - Ingleside Fabrication and integration)

    • Appurtenances Integration (Helideck, Flare Boom, Lifeboat Station)

  • More specific functions include Control Budget Stewardship and Reporting, Cost Forecasting/Profiling, Trends Identification/Mgmt., PO Management, Earned Value Assessment, Productivity Evaluation, Accrual Development, FX Mgmt. in terms of reporting and assessing exposure, Contingency & Allowance Mgmt., Variance Analysis, maintenance of various registers/logs (e.g. Change / Trends Log, Contingency Register), budget & long range plan updating, unit rate / quantity / lump sum stewardship, milestone monitoring, etc. while coordinating Change Mgmt.; These duties will be fulfilled using the Client and WWRP systems, processes, procedures, and templates accordingly.

Primary Functions:

  • Cost Reporting for Topsides Control Budget & Contracts

  • Change Management Coordination for Topsides related costs in the areas noted above

  • Cost Control Functions Include: Control Budget Stewardship and Reporting, Cost Forecasting/Profiling, Trends Identification/Mgmt., PO Management, Earned Value Assessment, Productivity Evaluation, Accrual Development, FX Mgmt. in terms of reporting and assessing exposure, Contingency & Allowance Mgmt., Variance Analysis, maintenance of various registers/logs (e.g. Change / Trends Log, Contingency Register), budget & long range plan updating, unit rate / quantity / lump sum stewardship, milestone monitoring, etc.

  • Meeting Attendance (Contractors, Project Controls Team, Project Team, etc.)

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in an Offshore Oil/Gas Production Unit Project Environment

  • Familiar with SAP, MS Word, PowerPoint

  • Well-developed planning and organizing skills

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree (desirable)

  • Project Management Professional - PMP or Equivalent (desirable)

  • AACEI Certification - CCP, CCT (desirable)

  • Eco-sys (desirable)

 

Personal qualities:

  • Good command of written and spoken English (desirable)

  • Good technical knowledge and skills

  • Good communication skills
