Main accountabilities:

• Ensure high quality of hull structural engineering and design work

• Act as Lead Structural Engineer on Projects

• Develop Structural work scopes and schedules

• Develop and monitor discipline manhour and weight budgets

• Act as mentor to less experienced Structural Engineers

 

HSE responsibilities:

• Contribute to HSE performance throughout the Engineering phases.

 

Reporting lines and interactions:

• Functionally reports to: Department Manager

• Operationally reports to: Project Manager / Lead Engineer

• Directly supervises: Engineers and Designers

 

Key interactions:

• Internally: Engineering Project Manager, Engineers, Designers

• Externally: Clients, Classification Societies, Fabrication Yards, Subcontractors
