Job Title             : HVAC Supervisor

Responsible to   : Commissioning Manager

Location             : Ingleside, USA & Offshore GoM

Start Date          : ASAP

 

 

Principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

• Project Engineeer two off thruster room spaces

• Review existing design and commissioning results (Project not achieving ABS required 20ACH)

• Engage HVAC subcon to correctly size fans

• Work with electrical / controls engineer on same

• Procure correct fans

• Work with structural engineer to ensure fans are adequately mounted

• look at ducting design and suggest optimizations to increase airflow

• Supervise installation & hook-up

• Commission incl. re-write of existing procedures

• Handover incl. of documentation closeout

• Assist PMT in timely completion of Commissioning activities as and where required

• Promote Company HSE Standards and Policies

Essential Attributes:

 

Experience:

 

• 5 years experience in the Engineering, Installation and Commissioning of HVAC/R Systems

• 2 years HVAC/R Project Engineering experience to Offshore Floating Units for the petrochemical sector

 

Qualifications:

 

• Level 2 in HVAC related qualification

• Valid Offshore Survival Certificate

• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate

 

Personal qualities:

 

• Fluent in English

• Leadership qualities

• Available to relocate

 

Desirable Attributes:

 

Experience:

 

• HVAC/R Design Office experience for offshore petrochemical Projects

 

Qualifications:

 

• Supplementary Engineering Qualification
