
HSE Site Representative

Main Responsibilities:

To maintain, monitor and implement Company’s Group Management System during Project execution
-
To provide expertise in the field of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Protection and Security
-
Prepare, implement, and update the Project HSE plan
-
Coordinate HSE interfaces between Company, Contractor, Sub-contractor, and Vendors
-
Ensuring Project execution in compliance with HSE
Main Tasks:
-
Ensure and provide where required assistance for the safety studies including participation in HAZIDs and HAZOPs
-
Ensure actions raised during HAZIPs and HAZOPs are closed out to the satisfaction of all parties
-
Where required, ensure Company HSE requirements are fully explained to Sub-contractor and main suppliers during tendering processes, and Sub-contractor and suppliers have taken full account of these requirements as part of their tender

Complete pre-tender audits of sub-contractor and main suppliers
-
Review and approve of Quality and HSE related documents submitted by sub-contractors and suppliers
-
Prepare and maintain HSEQ related documents and procedures
-
Responsible for site based HSEQ requirements, including implementing audit schedule and conducting audits

Control and monitoring of follow-up actions resulting from HSEQ audit
-
Advising HSEQ Manager as to status of Project HSEQ activities and issues

Ensure Project personnel are aware of the requirements relating to HSEQ, and individual’s roles in relation to HSEQ
-
Ensure Regulatory Compliance as per Project requirements

Analyse near Accident, Incident and Near Miss reports and prepare statistics for Company
-
Provide HSEQ Performance reports on regular basis to Company Management
-
Provide HSE training to Project personnel as required
-
Promotion of safety at Project locations by means of incentives, visual aids, meetings, etc.
Experience:
-
10 year’s engineering experience in the oil and gas industry
-
Organizational awareness
-
Well-developed planning and organizing skills
-
Influencing skills
Qualifications:
-
Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
Personal qualities:
-
Good command of written and spoken English (desirable)
-
Good technical knowledge and skills.

Good communication skills
